Open Evening - 17th September
Parents and carers of primary pupils are invited to attend our upcoming Year 7 Open Evening on Wednesday 17th September 2025, 5pm-8pm.
The Bridge at The Hinckley School is a 'school within a school' which combines the security of dedicated classrooms, social spaces and dining facilities just for Year 7 students, with the excitement of starting to study new subjects at the heart of a thriving secondary school.
The Bridge curriculum enables children to shine academically and take part in enriching activities, within a caring environment which helps them to make a smooth transition from primary to secondary education.
During our Open Evening, visitors will be able to learn more about our welcoming community by:
• Listening to a talk by our Head of School, Kate Groocock, and current students at different stages of the seven-year journey, who will talk about their exceptional experiences.
• Meeting our student ambassadors, who will be on hand to offer guided tours and answer your questions.
• Exploring our enviable facilities by touring our school site at your leisure. Including 'The Bridge', our recently refurbished Sixth Form Centre and our dedicated Year 8 centre 'The Gateway'.
• Sampling a taste of our aspirational and inspiring curriculum and learning more about how our vast enrichment calendar builds belonging and creates treasured memories.
