Sixth Former Wins FREE Degree
Nikita has now been presented with her competition certificate and is looking forward to starting her fully funded degree course at Coventry University.
In 2024, our sixth formers joined students from across the Midlands to take part in the Coventry University Global Financial Planning Competition, competing for a chance to win a fully funded university degree course.
After an in-depth application and interview process, Year 13 student Nikita has now been selected as the winner! To achieve this, Nikita first completed a budgeting and rationale sheet based on financially planning her first year at university. Nikita was then, alongside another of our incredible Year 13 students, Jaya, named as one of seven students short-listed for a final round of interviews with university professors. To have two of our sixth form students successfully progress to the final round of interviews is truly astounding and we would like to also congratulate Jaya on her achievement and hard work, who, in recognition of her strong performance was offered the opportunity to complete the Fundamentals of Financial Services level 2 qualification at no cost to her.
As the winner, Nikita has now been presented with a Certificate of Achievement and a fully funded CISI Qualification - Level 2 Award in Fundamentals of Financial Services. Nikita, who aspires to have a career in the financial sector, said, “I’m very excited to be the winner, I appreciate the opportunity presented and it is a great step forward in achieving my goals and aspirations.”
