Hinckley Parks Maths Challenge
Year 5 pupils take on The Bridge Maths Business Challenge.
Recently, we welcomed Year 5 pupils from Hinckley Parks Primary School, to take part in The Bridge Maths Business Challenge.
Pupils worked in groups to make and sell shapes, and with support from our Year 7 Student Ambassadors, competed to be the most profitable business. The day was filled with fun and healthy competition, giving pupils an insight into our unique sense of community and exceptional opportunities here at The Hinckley School.
Pupils were enthusiastic team players and creative thinkers who displayed PRIDE throughout, resulting in a fantastic morning which was enjoyed by all! The winning team made over £400 profit and won a board game each to take home. In addition, every pupil received a drawstring goodie bag including their very own compass set to keep practising their shape drawing skills at home!
