Year 7 Library Project

Year 7 Students Create Eye-Catching Posters to Promote Reading Culture
Our Year 7 students have been busy combining creativity with literacy by designing vibrant information posters for the school library, to help promote a strong reading culture across our school community.
As part of their English and Library lessons, students explored the importance of reading for pleasure and how books can inspire, educate, and entertain. Using this as inspiration, they created posters that encourage their peers to visit the library, read more, share book recommendations, attend library enrichment clubs and explore different genres.
Students described the library as somewhere to: 'imagine, create, learn, discover, think, adventure, share stories, make friends, relax and study'–we couldn't have put it better ourselves!
The finished posters will be proudly displayed around the library and school corridors to encourage others to visit this wonderful school facility.
Great work Year 7!
