Win Against Warwick School!
Our teams did us proud in their latest fixtures!
In their third game of the year, our Year 7 rugby team travelled to Warwick School, with more than 25 boys making the trip and representing the school across two matches.
For many of the boys, this was their first competitive rugby match, and it was fantastic to see the passion, enthusiasm and determination they showed from the very first whistle.
Team Red battled hard but were eventually defeated 5–1, while Team Bumblebee produced an excellent team performance to secure an impressive 10–5 victory.
There were standout performances across both matches, but what was particularly pleasing was the way every student represented the school. The boys demonstrated our PRIDE values, supported one another throughout and showed fantastic teamwork, resilience and commitment. With numbers continuing to grow and so many players committed to developing as a team, the future looks incredibly bright for Year 7 rugby.
The boys now have two exciting outings to look forward to. First, they will have the fantastic opportunity to be matchday mascots for Coventry RFC at their next fixture against Blackheath, before returning to action on Saturday when we host Lutterworth School.
Another exciting week of rugby lies ahead, and we look forward to seeing this group continue to grow, develop and enjoy representing the school.
