Arrangements for the Last Day of Term and the Start of the New School Year

Mrs Groocock has shared important details about the last day of term and our return to school in August

Dear Parent / Carer,

As we approach the end of this school year, I would like to inform you of our arrangements for the last day of term and the start of the new school year.

In line with other schools in the area, students will have an earlier finish of 12.30pm on the last day of term which is next Friday 10th July.

This will also be a non-uniform day, and as with all non-uniform days, we use these to raise money for good causes. This time, we are supporting Coppafeel, breast cancer charity. The non-uniform voluntary donation is £1.

All students will return to school after the summer holiday on Wednesday 26th of August, with the following arrival times:

  • Year 7 and Year 12 students should arrive from 8.15am ready for a prompt start at 8.30am
  • Years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 students should arrive from 8.45am ready for a prompt start at 9am.

This arrangement allows our new students, who will be unfamiliar with the school, the opportunity to orientate themselves and settle in their areas, before the rest of the students arrive.
