Year 10 will soon begin to look ahead to their post-16 destinations, with Open Evening and Taster Events fast approaching. On this page we will collate and share upcoming opportunities to find out more about local providers and pathways.

The Hinckley Sixth Form
- Year 10 students at The Hinckley School will participate in a Sixth Form Experience Day at The Hinckley Sixth Form on 1st July 2026, which will allow them to get their first taste of sixth form life and learning. Students will sample courses, hear about our vibrant student community from current students and learn more about our exceptional student destinations.
- In addition, The Hinckley Sixth Form will be holding an Open Evening in November 2026, to share information with parents, carers and students - the exact date will be announced shortly - so watch this space!
- In the meantime, students interested in combining high level academic study with elite rugby coaching, are encouraged to attend our Rugby Pathway Open Day on Tuesday 26th May, in partnership with Coventry Rugby Academy. To register to attend, click here.
