Year 6 Enjoy Exploring The Bridge
Families enjoyed exploring The Hinckley School at our recent Open Evening calling the event 'exceptional' and 'amazing'!
Open Evening was once again a resounding success as families joined us from across our local area, all interested to find out more about the exceptional community we have built.
During the event, guests could explore our enrichment fair, which showcased the wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities available, meet with subject specialists to learn more about our Key Stage 3 curriculum and the journey beyond, take part in classroom activities led by students and staff to get an insight into our engaging and interactive lessons and hear from our leadership team and student speakers in our Welcome Talks. It was a delight to welcome members of our wider community and
to share more about the unique seven-year journey our students enjoy here at The Hinckley School.
Our Student Ambassadors did us proud, acting as tour guides, subject activity leads and speaking in our Welcome Talks. Guests shared how their honesty, enthusiasm and politeness blew them away, and we are incredibly proud of how they represented the school. As they left the busy event, visitors called the evening ‘exceptional’ and ‘amazing’, commenting on how the unique Year 7
provision offered in The Bridge had made them feel at home already.
We would like to thank all students and staff involved in our Open Evening and to all our guests for joining us.
